Built for both durability and elegance, the chair features double-screwed and glued corner blocks, lower side rails, and multi-grooved, hardwood-dowelled joints. Combined with premium timbers and quality adhesives, these construction techniques provide exceptional strength and long-lasting reliability.

Comfort is a key focus, with carefully designed postural support and high-density foam over moulded plywood, ensuring a chair that is both supportive and inviting. To highlight the rich character of New Zealand Rimu, each chair is sealed with two-pack urethane and finished with an acid-catalysed two-pack lacquer, enhancing the natural beauty and grain of the timber.
